The position is part of ETE (End-to-End) family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met.\nLead Test Engineer will be responsible for developing test plans and implementing those plans against the corresponding test procedures. He should also be accountable for the development of automation scripts in Selenium java and writing SQL queries\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nPrepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure\nPrepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts\nMaintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts\nReview test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback\nTrack test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines\nConstruct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals\nCollaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.\nIdentify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.\nProvide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases\nDevelop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered\nResponsible for process compliance & associated documentation\nAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience \nBachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nExperience in Selenium Java with good hands on experience\nExtensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.\n Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.\nExperience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins\nExperienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination\nIn depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes),\nExperience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.\nExperience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins\nDetailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing\nRequires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.\n Preferably from Capital Market domain\nHaving AI exposure will be an added advantage\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
