The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nResponsible for system integration testing, including automation, of newly developed or enhanced applications.\nPlay an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results.\nLead, develop, and advise on test automation strategies and provide critical feedback in requirements, design, implementation and execution phases.\nPartner with collaborators - Product Management, Application Development, DevOps and other technical teams.\nTrack test execution milestones and report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.\nConstruct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals.\nResponsible for Delivery Pipeline adoption\nIdentify dependencies for environmental and data requirements.\nContribute to standard framework of reusable functions.\nDevelop a thorough understanding of the product(s) being delivered.\nResponsible for process compliance & associated documentation\nAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.\nWorks closely with business and application development domain experts, to continually improve depth and breadth of knowledge for assigned applications/systems.\nResponsible for Project Coordination and Technical Management tasks.\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum 6 years of related experience in delivering software solutions with hands on automated testing.\nBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.\nTalents Needed for Success:\nExperience in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination.\nIn depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes).\nExperience with Test Engineering methodologies and Test Automation Frameworks\nProficient in automation at all software layers (e.g. UI, services, APIs, etc.) as well as CI/CD technologies (e.g. Cloudbees, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira, etc.).\nSophisticated Java / Selenium development skills with significant experience applying those skills in test environments.\nTrack test execution milestones, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.\nExtensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.\nProven expertise in frontend test automation using Selenium Webdriver.\nExpert and hands on with backend test automation for API testing (e.g. Rest Assured, Karate, Postman) and database testing (e.g. Oracle/ DB2/ Snowflake).\nExperience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.\nExperience with JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.\nRequires the ability to work with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.\nExperience in mentoring junior test engineers, verifying work products and providing mentorship, as needed.\nUnix, Python and AWS experience in a plus.\nAccountable for process compliance & associated documentation\nAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.\nExcellent problem-solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
