We foster a thriving internal community and are committed to crafting a workplace that looks like the world that we serve.\nMarket Risk is a key driver of new business initiatives, with additional responsibilities overseeing risk systems design and continuous improvements, and ensuring compliance with Risk Management policies and procedures.\nPay and Benefits:\nCompetitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive\nComprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location\nPension / Retirement benefits\nPaid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.\nDTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).\nThe Impact you will have in this role:\nMarket Risk for Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) is responsible for the monitoring of daily margin calculations and managing market and liquidity risk exposures arising from trade execution and settlement activities.\nTeam members are responsible for understanding margining methodologies, maintaining a keen understanding of financial markets and client profiles, and effectively collaborating with other DTCC teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks and safeguard the financial market in which DTCC plays a pivotal role.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nPerform day to day functions contained in the procedures such as researching significant increases in margin requirements, supervising trading patterns of member firms, liquidity usage, etc.\nDevelop a strong understanding of clients’ business and risk profiles to serve as a point of contact for risk related support and inquiries.\nMitigates risk by following established procedures, identifying and advancing emerging risks, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.\nCollaborates with cross functional teams including Counterparty Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operations, Quantitative Risk, Relationship Management to bolster risk management practices.\nEducate clients on risk management tools and initiatives.\nAligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; advances appropriately\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nFosters a culture where integrity and transparency are expected.\nStays current on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.\nCollaborates well within and across teams.\nCommunicates openly with team members and others.\nResolves disagreements between colleagues effectively, minimizing the impact on the wider team.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
