The primary focus is centered on reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of all systems and platforms. The Platform Hosting & Engineering role specializes in the development, implementation, and support of all distributed, mainframe, and network hosting services across the firm. Responsible for the installation, configuration, programming, and support of operating systems, complex networks, and distributed environments, deploying solutions to increase overall system reliability across the firm.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nContribute to the installation and configuration of selected technologies\nProvide immediate support for production issues related to areas of expertise\nProvide support for off-hour / weekend implementation and Disaster Recovery tests as required\nAuthor system documentation and supporting documents to ensure transparency of design to minimize future maintenance costs\nContribute to the delivery of targeted business outcomes by supporting the technical decision-making process\nAnalyze changing business requirements to determine impact and optimal solution regarding defining the future state technical architecture\nFollow established DTCC requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise (best practices)\nBuild knowledge of technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies\nMonitor metrics to ensure system performance meets requirements\nFollow the governance, standards and best practices established by DTCC\nDeliver solutions that enable infrastructure agility, scalability, and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle.\nAligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nMust have working knowledge Storage technologies such as Dell/EMC VMAX, PowerMax, Unity, VNX and VNXe platforms and NetApp\nMust have working knowledge of Linux, Windows operating systems and networking principles\nMust have knowledge of Python, Ansible and Terraform\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
