Manages significant programs and projects including strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, and all general business management initiatives. The Business Systems Analysis role specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams. The Senior Business Systems Analyst role specializes in acting as the main interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting and analyzing business requirements, crafting functional specifications for the project's development teams.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nAct as a bridge between business and technical teams by translating business needs into clear technical and migration requirements. \nGather, analyze, and document end-to-end business, technical, and observability requirements, including dashboards, KPIs, alerts, logs, metrics, and traces.\nDefine and manage the product backlog (user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities) ensuring alignment with business value, feasibility, and migration goals. \nEvaluate existing infrastructure, applications, monitoring tools, and processes to identify improvement opportunities, migration impacts, and integration needs. \nProvide technical guidance to engineering, development, SRE, cloud, and architecture teams while collaborating closely with EDA, Autosys, and other platform SMEs. \nLead planning and execution of migration phases such as discovery, mapping, instrumentation updates, dashboard conversion, alert tuning, testing, and cutover. \nValidate migrated observability components to ensure data accuracy, correct ingestion, proper dashboard functionality, reliable alerting, and SLO/SLI alignment. \nDocument new standards, specifications, naming conventions, governance processes, and migration playbooks to support long-term observability maturity. \nCommunicate progress, risks, blockers, and system performance to senior leadership while ensuring compliance, transparency, and collaboration across teams. \nSupport users during and after migration through training, troubleshooting, knowledge transfer, and by helping decommission legacy monitoring tools once fully migrated.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nHave implemented observability or Monitoring/Alerting \nHave deeper understanding of its capabilities on any of the widely used platforms like Grafana, Splunk, Datadog or Dynatrace.\nStrong understanding of software development, technical architecture, infrastructure, cloud-based solutions and methodologies.\nProblem solver and be able to articulate how the application observability was defined both from reactive and proactive observability standards.\nSolid attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in delivering outputs within deadlines\nProficiency in creating detailed technical documentation, process maps, and flowcharts.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
