You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving resiliency, reducing operational risk, and advancing automation across critical trade processing platforms.\nWorking closely with globally distributed teams across Application Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, and Operations, you will help deliver stable, scalable, and highly available services that support DTCC's mission-critical business functions.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nProduction Reliability & Incident Management\nEnsure the availability, stability, and performance of mission-critical applications.\nLead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) activities.\nDrive preventative solutions that improve resiliency and reduce recurring issues.\nOperational Excellence & Resiliency\nSupport application recovery, failover, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity activities.\nMaintain operational readiness across a portfolio of enterprise applications.\nSupport critical processing schedules and service-level commitments.\nChange, Release & Automation\nSupport application deployments, releases, and vendor upgrades.\nDrive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.\nEnhance monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational tooling.\nCollaboration & Governance\nPartner with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, Database, Network, Security, and Product teams to ensure platform reliability.\nSupport audit, risk, compliance, and operational control requirements.\nBuild strong partnerships across globally distributed teams to drive continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience\n6-8 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in complex production environments\nTalents Needed for Success:\nCore Technologies\nJava/J2EE \nOracle, SQL, DB2 \nIBM MQ, Kafka \nSplunk, Grafana, AutoSys \nServiceNow and ITIL \nLinux/Unix \nAWS\nRequired Experience\nStrong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including reliability, observability, automation, and incident prevention. \nExperience supporting enterprise-scale, distributed applications in production environments. \nExperience with cloud technologies and modern infrastructure platforms. \nUnderstanding of messaging systems, middleware, and integration technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka, IIB, or similar). \nExposure to container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker. \nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred skills\nKafka and event-driven architecture experience. \nMainframe exposure (JCL, batch processing, job monitoring). \nPython or other scripting languages. \nFinancial Services, Capital Markets, or Securities Processing experience. \nAI-driven automation or operational efficiency initiatives. \nEnterprise integration and distributed processing platforms.\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
