Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems. This role is for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to own the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-hosted applications. This role combines React front-end development with Python/FastAPI backend services, with responsibility for technical quality, performance, and end-to-end solution design.\nThe Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nLead development of front-end applications using React, ensuring scalability and performance\nDesign and build high-throughput backend APIs using Python and FastAPI\nOwn end-to-end feature delivery across UI, backend services, and data layers\nDesign and optimize SQL queries, including support for Text-to-SQL workflows\nIntegrate applications with analytics and data platforms such as Snowflake\nDrive containerized deployments using Docker and support routing with Nginx\nApply and promote best practices for security, performance, and reliability\nMentor junior developers and participate in architectural and code reviews\nCollaborate with product, DevOps, and data teams to shape technical solutions\n**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 6 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\n7+ years of professional full-stack development experience\nStrong hands-on expertise with: React (front-end development)\nPython and FastAPI (backend services)\n SQL and data integration\n\nExperience deploying and operating containerized applications (Docker)\nExperience working in cloud-hosted environments\nNice to Have\nExperience with AWS EC2 or similar cloud infrastructure\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nExperience supporting data-intensive or AI-enabled applications\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
