The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization.\nThe Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nPrepare, maintain and complete manual test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure.\nPrepare, maintain, and complete automated test scripts.\nMaintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.\nReview test cases / automation approach with customer to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback.\nTrack test execution milestones, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.\nLead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.\nConstruct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals.\nCollaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.\nIdentify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; handle and maintain environment and data.\nProvide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases.\nDevelop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.\nResponsible for process compliance & associated documentation.\nAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 4 years of related experience\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience\nTalents Needed for Success:\nMinimum of 4+ years of related experience.\nHands on experience in API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java.\nExtensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.\nExperience in writing SQL queries.\nExperience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.\nExperience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.\nExperienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination.\nIn depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes).\nDetailed understanding of smoke testing, black- box and both non-Blackbox testing, as well as regression testing.\nRequires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team independently, both individually and as part of a team.\nPreferably from Financial domain.\nActual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
