Through this work, the team drives organizational alignment, strengthens accountability, and enables informed decision-making to deliver strategic outcomes and long-term enterprise value.\nAs a Strategy & Enablement Director, you will play a key role in shaping the enterprise's future direction while partnering with senior leaders across business, technology, and functional teams to advance the organization's most important strategic priorities. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and enterprise influence to drive execution, strengthen alignment and accountability, and deliver measurable business value.\nSuccess in this role requires a strategic mindset, sound business judgment, and strong analytical capabilities, along with the ability to translate complex objectives into practical plans that drive measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who excels at influencing within a matrixed environment, navigating ambiguity, and building alignment among senior stakeholders to advance enterprise objectives and long-term value creation.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nThe Strategy & Enablement Director serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, leading the development of enterprise strategy and translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, organizational alignment, and measurable outcomes. The Director also provides leadership and development for a team of strategy professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, building organizational capabilities, and enabling the successful execution of enterprise priorities.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of strategy and enablement professionals, providing direction, mentorship, performance management, and growth opportunities while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nLead and support the development, refinement, and communication of enterprise strategy, ensuring alignment between long-term objectives, business priorities, and execution plans.\nMonitor market, industry, and competitive developments to ensure strategies and plans remain aligned with evolving conditions and emerging opportunities.\nIdentify, assess, and advance Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 opportunities that support long-term growth, innovation, and strategic differentiation.\nConduct internal and external analyses to identify execution optimization opportunities and improve organizational effectiveness.\nLead the development of execution approaches, roadmaps, and plans that translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.\nTranslate enterprise strategic objectives into actionable business and technology initiatives, roadmaps, and execution plans.\nDesign and enable strategic programs and initiatives that maximize value realization and business impact.\nEstablish governance frameworks, decision-making processes, and performance metrics to guide execution and drive accountability.\nEnsure clear ownership, alignment, and accountability across strategic roadmap and execution plans.\nPartner with stakeholders to develop operational and client-facing change strategies that build required capabilities and support adoption.\nMitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, business transformation, management consulting, or enterprise execution, including experience influencing senior executives and leading cross-functional initiatives. \nExperience leading and developing teams, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred. \nDemonstrated expertise developing enterprise and business strategies and translating strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, initiatives, and measurable outcomes. \nDemonstrated expertise developing executive-level materials, strategic narratives, and recommendations for senior leadership and board audiences. \nAdvanced analytical skills, including data analysis, data visualization, problem-solving, and logical storyboarding. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.\n\nTalents Needed for Success:\nStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect enterprise priorities, market dynamics, and business outcomes. \nAwareness of industry, client, market, and technology trends, with the ability to incorporate external insights into strategic planning and decision-making. \nStrong enterprise orientation, with the ability to connect strategic priorities, initiatives, and performance outcomes across business and functional teams. \nExecutive presence and sound judgment, with the ability to influence decision-making, build alignment, and effectively engage senior stakeholders. \nProven people leadership capabilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nProven ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment, building trusted relationships and driving cross-functional collaboration. \nExperience establishing governance, decision-making frameworks, and accountability mechanisms that support effective execution and value realization. \nExceptional analytical capabilities, including the ability to synthesize complex information, identify actionable insights, and develop data-driven recommendations. \nAdvanced ability to analyze and validate data, challenge assumptions, and transform management information into accurate, actionable insights that support executive decision-making.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailor communications for executive and board-level audiences.\nAbility to navigate ambiguity, exercise sound judgment, and maintain momentum while leading complex strategic initiatives. \nContinuous improvement mindset, with a proactive and resourceful approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.\n Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. \nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
