Our purpose-built solutions-powered by AI and honed by decades of vertical expertise-are helping some of the world’s most significant enterprises thrive amid operational constraints and uncover new opportunities in a fast-changing world.\nJob Description:\nDTN is seeking a customer-focused, commercially minded Product Manager to help drive the next phase of profitable growth in our Energy and Refined Fuels SaaS business.\nIn this role, you will work closely with customers, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to understand market needs, identify opportunities, shape product priorities, and support the modernization and growth of DTN's solutions.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong product management fundamentals, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to translate customer and market insights into product capabilities that deliver measurable value. You will play an important role in guiding product strategy, supporting customer modernization and migration initiatives, and driving adoption, growth, and profitability.\nWhat You Will Be Responsible For\nDevelop and maintain product strategies and roadmaps using a structured, data-driven approach informed by customer needs, market insights, competitive analysis, and business priorities.\nEngage directly with customers to understand their workflows, challenges, and desired outcomes, including opportunities associated with product modernization and customer migration programs.\nIdentify, evaluate, and prioritize product opportunities based on customer value, commercial potential, and strategic alignment.\nDefine and prioritize product capabilities and enhancements, translating customer and market challenges into clear outcomes for Engineering teams.\nPartner closely with Engineering throughout product discovery and delivery to ensure solutions address validated customer problems and deliver measurable value.\nMaintain clear product roadmaps and effectively communicate priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs to internal and external stakeholders.\nEstablish and track product metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption, customer value, and commercial outcomes, using insights to guide ongoing product decisions.\nCollaborate with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, go-to-market planning, launches, and adoption of new and existing capabilities.\nSupport the development and ongoing validation of ideal customer profiles, market opportunities, and customer segmentation.\nBuild strong relationships with customers, users, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather insights, validate product direction, and support business objectives.\nContribute to product management best practices, processes, and ways of working across the Product organization.\nWhat You Will Bring to the Position\nProduct management experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering products or capabilities that create measurable customer value.\nExperience collaborating effectively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.\nExperience working with SaaS products and understanding how customer insights, market trends, and commercial considerations influence product decisions.\nExperience contributing to product launches and go-to-market activities.\nStrong customer discovery skills, with the ability to identify broader customer and market challenges beyond individual feature requests.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform decisions and prioritize tradeoffs.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with customers and stakeholders across the organization.\nUnderstanding of product management disciplines, including market analysis, customer segmentation, product discovery, roadmap development, and prioritization.\nStrong commercial awareness and an understanding of how product decisions influence customer adoption, business growth, and profitability.\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nExperience in the fuel supply chain, energy industry, data products, and/or data analytics.\nWhat You Can Expect from DTN\nCompetitive Salary\nUnlimited PTO\nFlexible working hours\nRemote work model (position dependent)\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans\n6% 401K matching\nUnlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCompensation\nThe targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $93,000 and $123,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
