In this role, as a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in driving the overall success of Global Operations. You will interact with external and internal stakeholders, and work with the Global Operations team to achieve the desired business outcomes with a focus on enhancing customer delight and supporting revenue growth. From contract award until the successful completion of the solution to our valued customer, you will meticulously manage each step of the process, ensuring all requirements are met and delivering a final result that exceeds expectations.\nRole Overview\nThe Project Engineer is responsible for the technical execution of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial design and engineering through system integration, testing, commissioning, and final customer acceptance. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional coordination, covering system design, technical documentation, factory and on-site engineering services, customer support, and the coordination of internal technical teams. The Project Engineer ensures that technical solutions are delivered to the required standards, within project scope and schedule, while supporting successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.\nWhat you will be responsible for:\nAnalyze customer requirements and project specifications.\nContribute to system design, including hardware, software, communications, and interfaces.\nPrepare and maintain project technical documentation.\nSupport the definition and validation of the Bill of Materials.\nPrepare and execute testing activities.\nSupport factory integration, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.\nManage and follow up technical deviations identified during testing.\nDeliver technical and user training to customers.\nAct as a technical point of contact for customers and internal teams.\nContribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.\nWhat you will bring to the position\nDegree in Telecommunications, Computer, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or similar.\nFamiliarity with engineering project lifecycles.\nFluent English (Spanish is a plus).\nStrong technical communication and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to prepare clear technical documentation.\nAvailability to travel internationally.\nDesirable knowledge\nExperience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:\nIP networking and basic network troubleshooting.\nWindows Server and/or Linux administration.\nSystem integration and communication protocols.\nElectrical power distribution and cabinet/rack integration.\nVirtualization technologies.\nBasic cybersecurity concepts.\nWhat you can expect from DTN:\n30 Annual Vacation Days\nCommuting allowance\nPension contribution\nHybrid work model + Work from Abroad Policy (30 workdays per year)\nFree access to the gym in our building; once a month office cake moment!\nUnlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCompensation:\nThe targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €35,000- €46,000 annually. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
