In this role, you will combine industry knowledge, technical expertise, and consultative selling skills to support complex sales opportunities and help customers realize the value of DTN's Agriculture solutions.\nWorking closely with Sales and other commercial teams, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects, delivering compelling product demonstrations, assessing business requirements, and recommending solutions that address customer challenges.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with exceptional commercial acumen, experience supporting enterprise customers, and the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes.\nWhat You Will Be Responsible For\nPartner with account-assigned sales professionals to advance and close strategic, complex, and technical sales opportunities within DTN's Agriculture business.\nLeverage in-depth industry, product, and technical knowledge to support sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer discussions.\nAssess customer business requirements and potential applications of DTN's products, developing tailored solution recommendations that address specific needs.\nDeliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that communicate product capabilities, differentiate DTN's solutions, and demonstrate customer value.\nPrepare detailed product and solution specifications to support customer implementations, applications, and technical requirements as needed.\nProvide technical consultation to prospective customers and internal commercial teams, including product capability assessments and solution validation.\nCollaborate with Sales and other internal stakeholders to address technical questions, overcome customer objections, and support informed purchasing decisions.\nDrive revenue generation for assigned products by providing the technical expertise necessary to support successful sales outcomes.\nEstablish trusted advisor relationships with customers and prospects through consultative engagement, industry insights, and value-based storytelling.\nWhat You Will Bring to the Position\n5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in Solution Engineering, pre-sales, technical sales, or solution delivery roles.\nKnowledge of the utilities industry.\nStrong commercial acumen and an understanding of how technical solutions contribute to customer value and revenue growth.\nExcellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage, challenge, and educate customers and prospects through value-based conversations.\nUnderstanding of the challenges businesses face when adopting SaaS solutions as part of their digital transformation initiatives.\nAbility to translate complex technical capabilities into practical business recommendations.\nStrong consultative approach to customer engagement and the ability to build credibility as a trusted technical advisor.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Sales and internal commercial teams to support complex enterprise sales opportunities.\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nExperience supporting complex SaaS solution sales within agriculture or related industries.\nFamiliarity with agriculture business processes, customer challenges, and technology adoption.\nExperience developing and delivering technical product demonstrations and solution recommendations for enterprise customers.\nWhat You Can Expect from DTN\nCompetitive Salary\nUnlimited PTO\nCollaborative and dynamic work environment\nFlexible working hours\nRemote work model (position dependent)\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans\n6% 401K matching\nUnlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancement\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCompensation\nThe targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $93,000 and $123,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
