Together, we are shaping the future of reinsurance.\n· Collaborate with account handlers to develop appropriate solutions tailored to clients’ needs.\n· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on company systems, including but not limited to contract/wording queries, reinsurer non-concurrencies, marketing lists.\n· Follow compliance procedures, including securing necessary approvals and maintaining client files (on shared drive and DMS).\n· Build and maintain relationships with reinsurers and internal stakeholders.\n· Stay informed about construction industry trends and developments to enhance offerings.\n· Actively participate in personal development and adhere to regulatory requirements / training.\nThe Role\nThe Senior Binder Claims Handler will be responsible for the effective oversight, management and processing of claims arising across the binder and delegated authority.\nThe role will provide senior-level technical and operational support across the claims function, ensuring claims are handled accurately, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements, delegated authorities, insurer expectations and applicable regulatory standards.\nWorking closely with brokers, coverholders, insurers, TPAs and internal operational teams, the role will take ownership of more complex claims matters while helping to strengthen controls, improve data quality and develop scalable and consistent claims processes.\nWhat will you be doing?\nReview and oversee claims bordereaux received from coverholders, TPAs and other delegated parties.\nValidate claims data for accuracy, completeness and consistency before onward reporting or system processing.\nInvestigate and resolve data discrepancies, missing information and reconciliation issues.\nMonitor the timely receipt and processing of claims bordereaux.\nWork with internal teams and external partners to improve the quality and consistency of binder claims data.\nSupport the reconciliation of claims data between bordereaux, internal systems, insurer records and financial information.\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nStrong experience within insurance claims, ideally within the London Market.\nExperience working with binder, delegated authority or coverholder business.\nGood understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle.\nExperience reviewing and managing claims bordereaux.\nStrong understanding of claims controls, authorities and referral processes.\nExperience of CLASS ECF, IMR, LORS, and A&S.\nGood interpersonal skills dealing with brokers and clients and the ability build good relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e.IBA)\nGood communication skills\nExperience with OpenTWINS, GBX or other similar broking systems\nWhat do we offer in return?A career that you define.\nOur business succeeds by allowing our people to make a mark in the areas they care about most: personal development, volunteering, and fundraising for charity, or creating new insurance products that address society’s greatest challenges.\nAnd we know that separate home and work lives don't really exist.
