And finding the most talented and entrepreneurial people to join the Group has been and will continue to be key.\nDUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a\nEvents ManagerClassification: Exempt/Full-time \nReports to: VP of Marketing and Communications\nTravel: Up to 20%\nSalary: $75,000 - $90,000\nLocation: San Diego, CA or Denver, CO\nRole overview\nDUAL North America is seeking an Events Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and project management of our full events portfolio, from industry conferences and tradeshows to DUAL-hosted partner events, philanthropic events, internal employee events, and digital events.\nThis role sits within our Marketing and Communications team and serves as the primary owner of event strategy and execution, partnering closely with underwriting and business development leads, the broader marketing team, and outside vendors to ensure every event reflects the DUAL brand and drives meaningful business and culture outcomes.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional who enjoys owning projects end-to-end, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and wants to\nhelp build out event strategy for a growing specialty insurance business.\nRole responsibilities\nOwn end-to-end event strategy, planning, and project management across DUAL North America's full events portfolio\nCoordinate DUAL's representation at industry conferences and tradeshows, including logistics, staffing, sponsorships, and booth planning\nPlan and execute DUAL-hosted external events, including broker appreciation events, carrier events, and giving-back/charitable events\nPlan and execute internal employee events, including holiday parties and other culture-building experiences\nCoordinate logistics and run-of-show for quarterly employee townhalls, partnering with the VP of Marketing and Communications and executive leadership on format, content flow, and technical execution\nOwn branded merchandise ordering, inventory, and distribution across events and offices\nPartner with the marketing team to develop and distribute event invitations and coordinate pre- and post-event marketing and communications\nIdentify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with external vendors, venues, and event partners\nManage event budgets, timelines, and post-event recaps and impact reporting\nMaintain a master events tracker/calendar\nTrack and report on event ROI and attendance metrics, using insights to refine future event strategy\nCollaborate with underwriting and business development teams to align event participation with business goals and sponsorship opportunities\nSupport other brand-visibility initiatives connected to events, as needed\nKey requirements\nBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality/Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience\n5+ years of experience in event planning, event management, or a related field, ideally within a B2B industry, including experience managing multiple concurrent projects and vendor relationships\nStrong creative eye and ability to conceptualize events end-to-end, from initial idea and theme to venue selection and décor, that reflect the DUAL brand and elevate the attendee experience\nEnergized by building and shaping an events program that's still taking form, rather than stepping into a fully mature strategy with an established playbook\nProven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously\nStrong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills\nExperience managing event budgets and tracking ROI\nComfort working cross-functionally with marketing, business development, underwriting, and executive stakeholders\nExcellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nAbility to follow policies and procedures\nSelf-motivated with strong attention to detail\nThis role will require up to 20% travel to attend various events, conferences, or internal meetings\nThis role is based in our Golden, CO office on a hybrid basis with minimum 3 days per week in office\nIf you do not meet all the qualifications for this role, we still encourage you to apply\nWhat we offer:\nA career that you define.
