Whatever your priorities - work/life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering - you’ll find like-minded people driving change at Howden.\nWhat is the role?\nBased in our London office and reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, this role will focus on supporting the Senior Risk Manager within Risk Operations in keeping the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework live and effective across all pillars of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, up to date Risk and Control Register, contributing to meaningful risk output, and playing a key role in project management and ongoing governance matters such as the policy schedule and risk assessments.\nWhat will you be doing?\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupporting the Senior Risk Manager in producing and communicating the annual ERM plan.\nManage assigned risk assessments and projects, contributing to others as required.\nSupport the ERM Team in reporting processes on key plans, projects, and initiatives, as well as managing stakeholder expectations and escalating issues and concerns promptly.\nDirect and support the embedding of risk management activities across key change initiatives, including acquisitions.\nEnsure the Risk and Control Register remains live and accurate.\nSupport Risk Business Partners across the organisation.\nSupport the production of high-quality risk management information and reports.\nAssist with ongoing administrative tasks as needed.\nWhat are we looking for?\nQualifications & Experience:\nStrong analytical, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to identify risks, trends, root causes, and mitigations.\nSolid understanding of risk management processes and frameworks.\nAbility to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across all levels.\nProficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.\nAnalytical and problem-solving capability.\nWhat do we offer in return?\nA career that you define.\nOur business succeeds by allowing our people to make a mark in the areas they care about most: personal development, volunteering, and fundraising for charity, or creating new insurance products that address society’s greatest challenges.\nAnd we know that separate home and work lives don't really exist.
