Power BI Developer
We’re looking for a Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across Howden UK&I Retail. You’ll work with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, build effective dashboards, and ensure data quality and consistency.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and translate business requirements into reporting specifications.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports.
- Provide clear, actionable insights and support ad-hoc analysis.
- Validate data, investigate issues, and contribute to governance and documentation.
- Work with BI Engineers and Analysts to improve data models and reporting processes.
- Promote good data practices and help raise data literacy across the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex data.
- Insurance industry or Financial Services Experience
- Hands-on Power BI experience including DAX and data modelling.
- Understanding of data structures and relational databases.
- Confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a structured way.
Desirable: SQL, Azure/Databricks knowledge, experience with insurance or financial/operational reporting, or working in a complex BI environment.
