This role will primarily focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) activities while also assisting with reconciliations and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and collaborating with the UAE finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts Receivable (Core AR)\nContract Checks: Assist in reviewing customer contracts to ensure accurate financial data before invoicing.\nInvoicing & Credit Notes: Prepare and issue timely sales invoices, adjustments, and credit notes as per company policies.\nCollections Support: Track outstanding receivables, follow up with customers, and escalate overdue cases.\n Payment Posting: Record customer payments (bank transfers, cheques, Adyen, Check Out transactions) and allocate correctly in ERP.\nAR Reconciliations: Support reconciliations and maintain updated AR aging and collection trackers.\nFinance Operations Support\nBank Reconciliations: Support monthly reconciliations of company bank accounts to ensure accuracy.\nGeneral Ledger Support: Post routine accounting entries and help with account reconciliations.\nMonth-End Close: Assist in AR closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting.\nReporting: Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management review and audit requirements.\nCompliance & Process Improvement\nEnsure adherence to finance policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.\nSupport external and internal audit requests by providing required documentation.\nIdentify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in finance operations.\nJob Requirements\n Education: ACCA student/affiliate (preferred) or graduate from a well-reputed university with a strong finance/accounting background.\n Experience: 1 - 1.5 years of experience in accounting/finance operations (AR exposure preferred). Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.\n Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage preferred) and MS Excel (advanced functions desirable).\nSkills: Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
