This position serves as the primary administrator of the LMS, ensuring effective system management, accurate reporting, data integrity, and a positive learner experience.\nAs a key member of the Learning & Development team, this role partners with stakeholders, subject matter experts, facilitators, business leaders, and external vendors to translate business needs into high-quality learning solutions. The Content Developer brings together technology, instructional design, and business insight to create learning that drives performance and reinforces Civista’s culture.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nBalances technical LMS expertise with creative instructional design and content development.\nTakes ownership of the learning platform, learner experience, and program outcomes.\nIs highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nCollaborates effectively across teams and communicates clearly with employees, leaders, subject matter experts, and vendors.\nProactively identifies opportunities to improve learning content, platform capabilities, engagement, and outcomes.\nDescription of Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations\nLMS Administration - Civista University\nServe as the primary administrator for the Litmos LMS, known internally as Civista University.\nManage users, roles, permissions, system configuration, course assignments, learning paths, and curricula.\nMaintain system organization, data integrity, reporting accuracy, and completion records.\nUpload and manage SCORM content, e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia learning assets.\nAdminister evaluations, assessments, and completion tracking.\nProvide end-user support, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage the Civista University mailbox and learner inquiries.\nGenerate and distribute reports to support quarterly business needs, audits, compliance, Human Resources, and other stakeholders.\nMonitor engagement and usage metrics and recommend improvements to the learner experience.\nStay current on LMS updates and enhancements and recommend new features or capabilities.\nPartner with the LMS vendor and participate in regular system review meetings.\nCollaborate with business partners to develop and deliver LMS-related solutions.\nInstructional Design & Content Development\nDesign and develop interactive learning experiences using adult learning and instructional design principles.\nTranslate business needs into clear learning objectives, structured programs, and practical training solutions.\nBuild digital learning experiences using tools such as Articulate Rise, LMS modules, job aids, microlearning, videos, quizzes, and other reinforcement activities.\nPartner with subject matter experts and facilitators to develop accurate, relevant, and engaging learning content.\nCreate multimedia content, including video clips and microlearning modules.\nDevelop reinforcement and follow-up strategies that support knowledge retention and application.\nContinuously improve content based on learner feedback, engagement, and performance data.\nEnsure learning content aligns with Civista’s brand, culture, strategic priorities, business goals, and leadership expectations.\nVendor & Stakeholder Partnership\nAct as a liaison between Civista and external learning vendors.\nConsult with stakeholders to understand learning needs and recommend appropriate solutions.\nCoordinate with vendors and internal partners to support successful implementation and ongoing improvement of learning programs and platforms.\nRequirements\nQualifications, Knowledge and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, instructional design, human resources, information technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.\nTwo to five years of experience in Learning & Development, training, instructional design, or a related field.\nHands-on experience administering an LMS; Litmos experience preferred.\nExperience with e-learning development tools, such as Articulate Rise or a similar platform.\nStrong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 and learning technologies.\nStrong organizational, analytical, project-management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple projects and deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.\nHigh attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a positive learner experience.\nLocation & Travel\nMust reside within the Civista Bank operating footprint.\nOccasional travel may be required for meetings or training.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to sit for prolonged periods and perform work requiring extended screen time and sustained focus.\nAbility to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.\nEOE -
