This role is focused on system development, equipment design, and documentation standardization across the organization.\nThe Project Engineer will play a key role in developing engineered solutions, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and supporting the execution of equipment systems to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability. This position will provide foundational experience in engineering design, system integration, and project execution while contributing to long-term capability development within the Equipment Team.\nAt all times, the Project Engineer must follow the safety regulations of both DuBois and the customer. This role is expected to demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed. \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: \nSupport pilot projects, testing, and validation of new equipment designs\nSupport development and standardization of equipment system designs across key markets and applications\nCreate, review, and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation\nDevelop and maintain equipment documentation packages, including manuals, specifications, and SOP\nAssist in design and layout of mechanical systems\nSupport system integration efforts, including controls and automation interfaces\nCollaborate with senior engineers to refine and improve existing equipment designs\nEnsure documentation accuracy, version control, and accessibility across the Equipment Team\nParticipate in internal design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives\nAssist in root cause analysis and design improvements based on field performance and feedback\nMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering\n0-2 years of relevant engineering, internship, or co-op experience\nBasic understanding of mechanical design principles\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nStrong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nHigh achievement orientation and willingness to learn\nUp to 10-20% travel required.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience with CAD software (2D or 3D, such as Inventor or SolidWorks)\nExposure to industrial equipment, controls, or process systems\nBasic understanding of PLCs, controls, or system integration concepts\nDuBois provides equal employment opportunities to
