Approximately 40-50% of the role focuses on level 3-4 support and projects related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), while the remaining time is spent on infrastructure and systems-related topics.\nThe position reports directly to the European Controller (solid line) and the VP of IT (dotted line) and has two direct reports.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nIT Strategy & Operations\nPlan, organize, control, and evaluate IT systems and processes.\n\nEstablish user needs and system functionality in alignment with organizational strategy and policy.\n\nDesign, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.\n\nEnsure cost effectiveness in line with budgets.\n\nCoordinate with global IT counterparts, where applicable.\n\nTeam & Vendor Management\nManage internal and external IT staff.\n\nAct as the first point of contact for supplier management and contracts.\n\nInfrastructure & Security\nEnsure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.\n\nMonitor system performance and proactively address issues.\n\nERP & Application Support\nProvide second- and third-line support to users.\n\nRepresent IT in business projects.\n\nLead and manage IT-related projects.\n\nSupport and improve Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and CRM usage and configuration.\n\nEnd-User Enablement\nHelp and educate employees on system usage to enhance user experience.\n\nKnowledge and Education\nBachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\n3-5 years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and CRM systems, including support and customization.\n\n3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and end-user support.\n\nSolid understanding of IT systems in manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience leading IT staff or projects in a fast-paced setting.\n\nStrong customer relationship management and communication skills.\n\nFluent in both Dutch and English.\n\nSkills\nCollaboration\nCommunicates openly and effectively.\n\nWorks collaboratively across departments.\n\nWelcomes feedback and seeks continuous improvement.\n\nPlanning and Organizing\nSets clear priorities and manages complex projects.\n\nProactively identifies and addresses bottlenecks.\n\nEstablishes the conditions for successful execution.\n\nProblem Solving\nRecognizes issues in systems or projects early.\n\nAnticipates and mitigates potential risks.\n\nEvaluates information from multiple sources.\n\nDevelops and implements effective solutions.\n\nDemonstrates ownership and takes initiative to deliver results independently\n\nSafety\nActively contribute to a clean and safe working environment, including the responsibilities as mentioned in the employee handbook\n\nReport unsafe behavior and situations\n\nFollow offered safety trainings and courses\n\nDuBois offers a competitive salary package complemented by an attractive range of benefits, including 40 vacation days, a commuting allowance, a solid pension scheme, and a contribution toward health insurance, all within a dynamic and international work environment.\nLocation requirement\nThis is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands.
