Responsible to lead, execute, and deliver support growth and profitability initiatives. Deliver meaningful results while aligning with customer experience strategies and corporate standards. Demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nOrganize and physically prepare testing and process activities related to product applications, product evaluations, and customer product application support.\n\nCollaborate with Chemists, R & D Managers, and other R & D team members in the surface finishing laboratory in chemical product formulation and testing.\n\nDesign application systems to pretreat metals.\n\nEffectively work within an industrial lab environment.\n\nProvide technical assistance with customers, sales representatives, and others.\n\nEffectively complete process work orders and the support of customer operations.\n\nEffectively enter test results in the database to be used by others.\n\nMaintain laboratory data bases.\n\nConduct research on business development projects or research related duties as assigned by R & D Manager.\n\nMaintain laboratory space in safe operating order.\n\nConsistent with our culture of continuous learning, participate in self-development activities related to your job function or functions assigned by manager.\n\nMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nMINUMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nPursuant of bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited university/college with a co-op or internship program\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\n\nMinimum first year chemistry lab skills required.\n\nBasic understanding of operation of equipment within the laboratory.\n\nExperience with ISO9001 requirements is desired.\n\nDuBois
