This role entails leading technical initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n· Lead the design, development, and implementation of applied AI solutions to address complex business challenges, servicing multiple products.\n· Architect applications and platforms that integrate with large language models (LLMs).\n· Lead the design and development of highly available API services using Python and C#/.NET with at least one popular backend framework, e.g. ASP.NET, Django, Flask, etc.\n· Stay updated on advancements in frameworks and AI models and identify opportunities to incorporate new tools and methodologies into projects.\n· Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n· Evaluate and select appropriate AI models and techniques to achieve desired outcomes, considering factors such as model performance, scalability, and interpretability.\n· Develop and maintain robust codebases, adhering to best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.\n· Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.\n· Curate automated deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, delivering services and AI models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.\nWHAT YOU’VE DONE\nEducation and Work Experience:\n· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n· 5+ years of experience in software development.\n· 3+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies and architecture including containerized compute, storage, IAM and service integration.\n· Experienced in at least one popular LLM application framework, e.g. LangChain, Semantic Kernel and one vector database.\n· Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.\n· Solid grasp of software engineering principles and best practices.\n· Ability to craft clean, maintainable, and efficient code, emphasizing scalability and reusability.\n· Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.\n· Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and advancements.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nOur team is built on strong core values that guide how we work and grow together.
