This position plays a critical role in coordinating the movement of finished goods and raw materials, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining transportation records, and supporting our commitment to customer service and operational excellence.\nThe ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving logistical challenges, and can effectively coordinate with transportation providers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate the transportation of finished goods and raw materials to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.\nSchedule and manage transportation appointments with customers, warehouses, and freight carriers.\nMonitor shipments from pickup through final delivery and communicate shipment status updates.\nInvestigate and document transportation exceptions, including delays, shortages, damages, and temperature-related concerns.\nMaintain accurate shipment data within transportation management and business systems.\nReview freight invoices and transportation charges for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.\nSupport refrigerated transportation operations and ensure compliance with transportation and food safety requirements.\nMaintain transportation documentation, including bills of lading, proofs of delivery, and freight records.\nMonitor carrier compliance documentation, including insurance and other required records.\nPrepare and distribute transportation and logistics reports as requested.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of one year of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, shipping, or supply chain operations.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.\nPreferred\nTwo or more years of logistics coordination experience.\nExperience in fresh produce, food distribution, refrigerated freight, or temperature-controlled transportation.\nBilingual English/Spanish skills.\nExperience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Dynamics.\nSkills & Competencies\nCustomer-focused service approach\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks\nExcellent attention to detail and data accuracy\nSound judgment and decision-making\nAdaptability in a fast-paced environment\nCommitment to compliance, quality, and continuous improvement\nWorking Conditions\nCombination of office and warehouse environments.\nOccasional exposure to cooler and production environments.\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use computer equipment for extended periods.\nOccasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.\nAvailability to support occasional after-hours, weekend, and on-call operational needs.\nWhy Join Duda Farm Fresh Foods?\nAt Duda Farm Fresh Foods, we are committed to delivering quality products while fostering a collaborative and team-focused environment.
