You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product, Data, Research, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of critical initiatives across the company.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems, developing engineers, improving processes, and driving execution. alignment across engineers, teams, and initiatives.\n\nPartner Across the Business\nWork closely with Product Managers to refine requirements and scope initiatives.\n\nCommunicate project status, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.\n\nCollaborate with Data, Research, Operations, and other business teams to understand needs and deliver solutions.\n\nHelp balance short-term business objectives with long-term platform investments.\n\nContribute to Organizational Planning\nPartner with the Head of Engineering on roadmap planning and resource allocation.\n\nHelp establish team OKRs and measurable success criteria.\n\nTrack execution against goals and identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nParticipate in defining the future structure and growth of the engineering organization.\n\nRequirements:\nExperience\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\n\n1+ years leading or managing engineering teams.\n\nExperience operating in high-growth startup environments, ideally Series B, C, or D companies.\n\nExperience building and maintaining production systems at scale.\n\nDemonstrated success leading engineering projects from planning through delivery.\n\nTechnical Skills\nExpert level backend development experience using Python.\n\nStrong experience designing APIs and distributed systems.\n\nDeep understanding of cloud native architectures and AWS services.\n\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure practices.\n\nStrong understanding of system design, scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization.\n\nExperience working with relational databases and data intensive systems.\n\nLeadership\nProven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands on.\n\nAbility to build trust and alignment across teams.\n\nComfortable making decisions and driving accountability.\n\nLeads through influence, collaboration, and
