The ideal candidate has good English skills, a geophysical background, seismic processing and imaging experience, an interest in computing, and a love for solving puzzles!\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWork on a varied range of seismic processing and imaging (P&I) subjects.\nAn opportunity to become a subject matter expert (SME) in several areas.\nExposure to the entire range of DUG technology from the start.\nWork with and solve problems for some of the most advanced energy companies in the world.\nWork with R&D and test new software, including industry leading technologies.\nOpportunities to contribute towards academic papers and presentations.\nList of Responsibilities (not necessarily exhaustive):\nMentor and support junior team members.\nProvide assistance and solutions for clients (internal & external) via the ticketing system.\nDocument lessons learnt and solutions.\nContribute to training material.\nProvide input to best practice documentation.\nRun and support client evaluation projects.\nMulti-task as required depending on workloads.\nMaintain flexibility to provide limited overlap with other time zones in certain situations.\nUndertake learning of multiple disciplines in parallel.\nUndertake R&D projects, reporting to superiors and presenting results.\nCommunicate often and effectively with global support team.\nFeedback client requests for additional software features.\nUndertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects and related duties as assigned.\nComply with the Company’s HSE regulations and policies.\nAbout You:\nBSc, MSc or PhD in Geophysics, Geoscience, Physics, Maths, Electrical Engineering with a Physics background, or equivalent.\nMinimum of 3 years experience of geophysical software support.\nKnowledge of, and experience working with geoscience software / applications.\nHigh level of computer proficiency.\nExcellent in presentation, communication and writing skills;
