Candidates are expected to have strong computer systems knowledge and have the ability to work with independence in the E&CP tools.\nThis position does not progress into the engineering technologist hierarchy.\nThis position is accountable for providing accurate and timely work results which support safety, reliability, storm restoration, and cost management while providing quality customer service.\nBasic/Required Qualifications\nAssociates degree\nIn lieu of above, a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of related work experience can be considered. \nPreferred Qualifications\nOne (1) year of related work experience.\nAdditional Preferred Qualifications\nDemonstrates excellent customer skills\nPossesses effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills\nCollaborates effectively in a team environment\nDemonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office suite\nExhibits flexibility and dependability during storm events and regular work\nEffectively manages stressful situations\nDemonstrated proficiency in computer based work management systems\nKnowledgeable of E&CP processes, work management system, and related computer applications\nExperience using computer based drawing tools\nWorking Conditions\nHybrid Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees must live within a reasonable commute to their designated Duke Energy facility, not greater than 50 miles one way.
