You will work on our D&B Connect application, a strategic self-service Master Data Management (MDM) platform that enables customers to cleanse, match, enrich, monitor, and manage their first-party data using D&B's Commercial Graph and D-U-N-S®-anchored data assets. This serves as our primary MDM customer-facing platform, accessed via web UI plus CRM, Marketing and Cloud Data Warehouse integrations with planned support for AI-driven headless access through MCP tools.\nThe Senior Engineer will work in a scrum team building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. This role will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business requirements and functional specifications into innovative solutions implementing performant, scalable and maintainable designs.\nTeam Overview\nDesign and evolve enterprise-grade Master Data Management (MDM) platforms powering core business entities (e.g., customers, suppliers, leads, reference data)\n\nAddress challenges in data quality, identity resolution, integration, and governance at scale\n\nBuild highly available, resilient systems that support both real-time and batch workloads across global regions\n\nCollaborate with product, data, and platform teams to transform business needs into scalable technical solutions\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop scalable, distributed software systems and work on other projects that require research, awareness, interactivity and the ability to ask the right questions\n\nDesign, develop, debug, support, maintain and test software applications\n\nWork closely with other teams across a wide breadth of applications and solutions\n\nAssist SME in providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into industry best practices, strategies, and architectures; and pursue professional growth\n\nHelp improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews\n\nIdentify, plan and ensure successful incremental execution of application modernization, re-platform and refactoring efforts\n\nRecognize opportunities for continuous improvement to a technology solution whether it’s optimizing the performance of the system or identifying tech debt\n\nPartner with SRE team to deploy and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS\n\nDemonstrate strong customer focus and end-to-end ownership of applications, including participation in incident response activities and post-incident reviews when customer-impacting issues occur.\n\nProactively improve quality through collaboration, automation, process improvement and innovative thinking\n\nLeverage AI-enabled development tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, development velocity, and operational efficiency.\n\nKey Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields\n\n8+ years of experience managing and deploying commercial software products\n\nAdvanced Linux knowledge\n\nStrong understanding of triaging data & performance issues and how to resolve them while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency\n\nIndependent thinker able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment\n\nProven excellence with Java and/or Scala, Python, Spark/PySpark and scripting languages\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and initiatives in parallel\n\nProven experience managing solutions on GCP or AWS utilizing a broad set of the services available\n\nProven experience working on large-scale, distributed systems\n\nShow an ownership mindset in everything you do;
