You will implement CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and security automation, embedding shift-left practices and AI-assisted tooling across the SDLC.\nThe ideal candidate must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team and possess current DevOps/DevSecOps experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, security automation, and scripting. Required qualifications include 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience; hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/CloudFormation); experience with CI/CD tooling and security automation; and scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar). The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen; dual citizenship is not permitted, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. Must be willing to work a HYBRID schedule (2 days) in Reston, VA and client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.\nKey Responsibilities & Duties :\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native tooling, such as CodePipeline and CodeBuild.\nImplement infrastructure-as-code with AWS CDK/CloudFormation.\nIntegrate security scanning (SAST/DAST/SCA) and policy-as-code into pipelines.\nAutomate compliance evidence for FedRAMP/NIST controls.\nSupport environment provisioning and deployment automation (blue/green, canary).\nEmbed AI-assisted tooling for scanning, testing, and pipeline authoring.\nMonitor pipeline health and improve delivery metrics.\nCollaborate with the team on design and refinement.\nIdentify technical issues and communicate risks or blockers early.\nCollaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.\nRequired Qualifications :\nEducation or professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps engineering experience.\nHands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/CloudFormation).\nExperience with CI/CD tooling and security automation.\nScripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nConsistent on-time attendance and reliability.\nMust be adaptable/flexible as priorities change.\nMust be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.\nAvailability during normal business hours and as needed after hours or weekends.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAWS certification (DevOps or Security)\nFedRAMP/NIST experience\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted DevSecOps tooling\nJob Description Acknowledgement\nBy signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the responsibilities and duties for the role that I’m in.
