This role is a critical position supporting both operations and customers in our Signs & Graphics division in the Carolinas and beyond. You will join and be an integral part of a successful team of customer-focused employees.\nJob Summary\nThe Field Installer is responsible for the assembly and installation of a wide range of signage throughout the Carolinas and Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, be mechanically inclined, and have experience in construction, installation, or the signage industry. Experience working with adhesive vinyl is a plus.\nEssential Functions and Duties\n Installation Install a variety of interior and exterior signage across the Carolinas (local day travel as needed).\n Represent Duncan-Parnell professionally while communicating with customers on-site.\n Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.\n Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.\n Read and interpret maps, construction plans, assembly instructions, and measurements.\n Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as needed.\n\n Preparation and Process Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job protocols.\n Review the scope of work with the production team prior to installation.\n Prepare tools, gather materials, and handle loading and unloading.\n Receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments and materials.\n Submit completion photos and job documentation for billing.\n Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.\n\n Types of Installations Exterior signage: post-mounted signs (e.g., 4x8s, V-signs, parking, directional, banners).\n Interior signage: acrylics, wayfinding, dimensional logos, wall and window graphics.\n Operate lifts (scissor or boom) for elevated installations.\n Perform occasional local deliveries.\n\nProduction & Assembly Assemble and prepare signage for installation or delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality.\n Prioritize and complete finishing and production tasks.\n Operate production equipment such as laminators, table saws, and hand tools.\n Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process.\n\nAdditional duties as needed\nRequirements\nHigh school graduate\nValid Driver’s license with good driving record\nAbility to travel overnight 1-2 days per week as needed\nLight Construction, Carpentry, Fabrication or previous sign and graphics experiences\nAlways strive to adhere to Duncan-Parnell’s Mission Statement\nQualifications\nTeam player with a strong work ethic\nMechanically inclined with light carpentry skills, ability to take measurements and knowledge of hand & power tools\nOrganized and detail-oriented - able to multi-task, prioritize & trouble-shoot projects\nSelf-Motivation - Must be able to work independently and execute complete assignment in time sensitive manner\nAbility to lift 75 or more pounds\nBenefits:\nMedical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance available\nMedical and dependent care FSA or HSA\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nPTO and Holidays\nPaid Parental Leave\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
