You will join and be an integral part of a successful team of customer-focused employees.\nJob Summary\nThe primary responsibilities of the Installer include the assembly & installation of signage throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. The ideal candidate would have carpentry skills, be mechanically inclined with a background in construction, installation or signage.\nEssential Functions and Duties\nInstall signs in and around the Carolinas and Virginia (Travel to Virginia 1-2 days per week as needed) Speak to customers on-site and representing Duncan-Parnell professionally while in the field\n Operate various types of tools & equipment safely & efficiently\n Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work environment\n Troubleshoot & resolve problems\n Read & understand maps, construction plans, assembly instructions & measurements.\n\nFollow SOP’s and job protocols Preparation for installations includes reviewing scope of work with production team, prepping tools, gathering materials, loading & unloading\n Receive, verify and stock incoming shipments and deliveries from outside vendors\n Send completion photos\n Communicate effectively with team & complete paperwork for billing\n\nInstallations include but are not limited to: Exterior Signs with Posts (4x8; V-Signs, parking / directional signs, banners, etc.)\n Interior Signage (acrylics, wayfinding signs, impact logos, wall & window vinyl graphics)\n Installation services will require occasional use of a lift (scissor lift, boom lift)\n\nAdditional duties as needed\nRequirements\nHigh school graduate\nValid Driver's license with good driving record\nAble to travel overnight to Virginia 1-2 days per week as needed\nLight Construction, Carpentry, Fabrication or previous sign and graphics experiences\nAlways strive to adhere to Duncan-Parnell’s Mission Statement\nCompetencies\nTeam player with a strong work ethic\nMechanically inclined with light carpentry skills, ability to take measurements and knowledge of hand & power tools\nOrganized and detail-oriented - able to multi-task, prioritize & trouble-shoot projects\nSelf-Motivation - Must be able to work independently and execute complete assignment in time sensitive manner\nAbility to lift 50 or more pounds\nBenefits:\nMedical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance available\nMedical and dependent care FSA or HSA\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nPTO and Holidays\nPaid Parental Leave\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
