Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.\nPAY TRANSPARANCY\nThis role will offer$85,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.\nWORKING HOURS\nMonday-Friday schedule aligned to business hours, with participation in after-hours, weekends, or on-call support rotations as needed. \nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe IT Solutions Analyst - Cybersecurity is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security operations and engineering capabilities across the organization. This role serves as a technical contributor and analytical resource within the Cyber Team, supporting security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and the engineering of security controls and tooling. The Analyst works closely with the CISO and Cyber Team to identify security gaps, operationalize threat intelligence, and ensure that security solutions align with organizational risk tolerance, compliance requirements, and operational standards.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nTriage and respond to Tier 1 & Tier 2 security incidents and alerts, including initial investigation, containment actions, and escalation in accordance with the incident response process\nMonitor security event queues, analyze alerts from SIEM and other security tooling, and document findings and resolutions to support shared knowledge and continuous improvement within the Cyber Team\nAnalyze existing security systems, architectures, and data flows to identify vulnerabilities, coverage gaps, or improve detection, response, or operational efficiency\nTranslate business requirements into documentation, detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user stories \nAssist in developing, executing, and supporting security validation and testing activities\nAnalyze trends in security events, alerts, and incidents to identify emerging threat patterns, detection gaps, or operational improvement opportunities\nDocument system behavior, requirements, test results, and process changes\nAssist with security incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and post-incident review to drive improvements in detection and response capabilities\nEnsure security operations and engineering activities align with applicable compliance requirements, security frameworks (NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS) and internal policies and standards\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\nHands-on experience with security tools (SWG, CASB, ZTNA, Cloud SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP) \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nUnderstanding of encryption, authentication, and secure protocols\nExperience supportingsecurity control testing, or penetration testing activities\nEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS\nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution \n2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, IT security analysis, or a related security role\nPREFERRED\nAssociate's or Bachelor'sdegree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field \nFamiliarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST 800-53, STIGs) \nExperience with AWS cloud security\nBasic experience with query languages or scripting (KQL, SPL, SQL, Python)\nIndustry-recognized security certifications (GSEC, Security+, CySA+, SSCP)\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nThis role is primarily computer-based and may be performed in an office or remote work environment.
