We encourage you to embrace this opportunity to impact someone’s life.\nWhy Dungarvin?\nAs part of our team, you’ll enjoy a range of exciting benefits and opportunities:\nFixed Starting Rate: $20.50/hr\nSchedules: Full-time (All persons in this position should be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays.)\n Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance (for FT employees), Supplemental Insurance, Life Insurance, and more!\n Retirement Savings: 401(k) with up to a 3% employer match\nPaid Time Off that increases with tenure; Including PTO Donation options\n Employee Perks: National Brand Discounts, Employee Referral Program, and access to Tapcheck (get 50% of your pay before payday)\nGrowth & Development: Access to career growth opportunities, paid training, and mentorship\nMileage Reimbursement for travel\nPaid Training and Orientation: Training provided to ensure you’re equipped to handle challenging behaviors.\n Coordinate services related to finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, household management, and educational/vocational programs. \nCreate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage. \nAssist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual supports, and team communication. \nProvide guidance, coaching, and support to staff and support team members. \nPerform direct support duties during assigned shifts, including personal cares, meal preparation, transportation, and other activities of daily living. \nPromote person-centered supports that foster independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes. \nAssist with household management and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment, including general housekeeping and upkeep tasks. \nCommunicate program, household, medical, behavioral, and staffing needs to supervisors. \n Required (Must-Have)\nHigh school diploma or GED. \nValid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. \nMinimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field. \nMust be at least 18 years of age. \nBasic computer skills for documentation and communication. \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods. \nAbility to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines. \nAbility to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds. \nSkills & Abilities\nPrior experience in residential services preferred. \nStrong organizational, decision-making, communication, and time management skills. \nStrong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to document services, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members. \nDemonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism. \nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team. \nAbility to support individuals using a person-centered approach that promotes dignity, independence, and choice. \nIf you’re passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you!
