Your responsibilities will include operating our van, collaborating with team members to optimize transportation schedules, and maintaining the vehicle. If you have a passion for safe and reliable transportation and share our values of respect, teamwork, and quality service, we encourage you to apply for the Van Driver position. \nWhat You Get To Do:\nDrive the van and transport individuals to various destinations on a daily basis.\n\nCollaborate with team members to create efficient transportation schedules using scheduling software.\n\nMaintain a thorough knowledge of van operation to ensure safe and efficient transportation.\n\nComplete weekly safety checklists and ensure vehicle cleanliness.\n\nMaintain daily mileage logs and monthly maintenance logs.\n\nAdapt to changing transportation needs and adjust schedules accordingly.\n\nInteract positively with individuals served, family members, case managers, and the public.\n\nProvide backup coverage as assigned for vacations, illness, or emergencies.\n\nBe flexible with schedule changes, including weekends and holidays.\n\nEnsure the van is safe and sanitary for transportation.\n\nRespond effectively to emergencies and follow procedures.\n\nNotify the supervisor of needed repairs or concerns.\n\n What Makes You a Great Fit:\n!!Valid driver's license with a clean driving record!!\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nPunctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to adapt to changing schedules.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\n\nComplete Basic Orientation and attend recommended in-service training.\n\n Dungarvin believes that diversity and inclusion make our organization stronger.
