This provides a challenging environment for people to drive change and ensure we embrace cyber and security challenges to protect and grow our business.\nWe are hiring for a Cyber Defence Senior Analyst who will be responsible for SOC escalations, cyber engineering, threat vulnerability management and incident response investigations. This role involves both operational cyber defence activities and independent working to deliver on cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will also be expected to mentor junior analysts and on occasion provide additional cover.\nThe ability to collaborate with IT peers and the wider business is essential.\nThe role is based in our Head Office in Dublin city centre, and reports to our Senior Manager Cyber Defence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPoint of escalation for SIEM incident investigation and root cause analysis in support of Dunnes Stores SOC.\nPlan, execute and report on cyber threat hunting leveraging threat intelligence scoped to the retail sector.\nOversee and maintain our management solution to provide accurate identification, classification and reporting on vulnerabilities across the Dunnes Stores estate.\nCoordinate comprehensive external attack surface management and associated remediation of Dunnes Stores infrastructure.\nDesign, deploy and verify new detection use cases based on the latest cybersecurity threats targeting the retail sector.\nMaintain a working knowledge of new offensive tactics, techniques and procedures to perform controls testing and verify our detection capabilities.\nPlan and execute cybersecurity engineering tasks as directed with minimal oversight to support the wider IT organisation.\nStay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies specific to the retail sector.\nRegularly perform cloud security posture management reviews and action priority remediations.\nProvide leadership cover for Cyber Defence and act as team point of contact when required.\nQualifications & Experience:\n8+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity role, preferably with a mix of MSP and internal SOC experience.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.\nStrong experience in cybersecurity SOC operations and incident response, preferably in the retail sector.\nStrong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Cloud and networking technologies.\nExperience with management and deployment of threat vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, security information and event management, security orchestration automation & response, cross detection & response and cloud technologies.\nExperience configuring and maintaining an enterprise vulnerability management solution.\nExperience of incident response, including log analysis, forensic investigation and report writing.\nProfessional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CRTO, GIAC or OSCP.\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE) and regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI DSS).\nExcellent communication, written and organisational skills.\nAbility to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business terms and influence decision-making processes.\nWorking knowledge of the cyber threat intelligence for use case development and reporting.\nDunnes Stores Competency Profile:\nTechnical/professional knowledge\nBuilding Relationships\nResults Orientation\nChange Advocate\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary\nComprehensive benefits package including our employee discount\nOpportunities for professional development and career progression\nA dynamic and collaborative work environment focused on innovation and growth\nIf this sounds like the job for you, please apply now!\nDunnes Stores is an equal opportunities employer\n\nCookie Policy\n\nBy creating an account, you consent to Dunnes Stores (and any third party acting on its behalf) using your personal information which Dunnes Stores receives during the account creation process.
