This role will be a key role in supporting our ambitious Digital Transformation Programme objectives.\nThe successful applicant will be given the opportunity to be part of a thriving business and a highly motivated team.\nThe Role:\nOur role in managing and maintaining the supply of goods and services to the company is vital to the smooth operation of the Business. As an IT Procurement Manager you will deliver specialist procurement advice, support and solutions to stakeholders across the company.\nAs well as delivering a wide range of potentially large and complex procurement projects, you’ll adopt a business partnering approach collaborating with senior stakeholders, executive members and our CDO and CTO to deliver best practice procurement that meets the needs of the business.\nMain Duties:\nResponsible for the implementation of procurement best practices across the breadth & depth of the category by providing market insight, development of category strategies & associated sourcing plans, tendering, negotiation and supplier management \nManagement of complex end to end IT tenders to contract delivery. \nDevelopment of sourcing strategies for the relevant categories in collaboration with Senior Stakeholders \nDriving cost reduction efforts through process improvement, contract efficiencies and elimination of non-value add activities. \nSupporting the provision of goods and services by taking ownership of supplier contract documents and managing the evaluation process through to contract award \nDriving up supplier performance by designing, implementing and embedding supplier relationship and contract management processes \nOffering specialist technical advice and support on commercial and procurement issues to a range of stakeholders \nTaking a lead on all procurement and commercial activity for a range of business areas and attending senior leadership meetings \nHelping to develop procurement policy, procedures and processes and communicating these across the organisation \nCollaborate with the legal team to ensure development and implementation of robust contracts with all key suppliers \nManaging stakeholder relationships at all levels, including some of our senior leaders \nBuild relationships with the wider business, including Finance, HR and Legal. \nSupporting the Director of Procurement on procurement related projects, initiatives and reporting \nDevelop in conjunction with the CDO and CTO a Supplier Relationship Management programme for all key suppliers and ensure appropriate metrics are in place to deliver service against contracts. \nEnsure that the relationship governance framework is delivered on all strategic contracts to maximise strategic goal alignment, innovation and continuous improvement. \nEnsure continuous improvement measure are in place with key suppliers. \nMaintain a broad understanding of the commercial IT environment, how the organisation sources, deploys and manages external partners and when it is appropriate to use in-house resources. \nKeep up to date with trends in IT and the industry and keep abreast of industry knowledge of key vendors.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s Degree would be highly desirable \n3-5 years relevant experience, in a Procurement Manager role \nExpertise across all areas of IT procurement with any additional experience within the retail industry beneficial \nExperienced in a broad range of sourcing strategies to underpin the IT category \nOutstanding communication skills and able to influence at a senior level \nStrong Relationship management both with internal customers, stakeholders & suppliers \nProcurement execution including business requirements and market analysis, tender negotiation and contract award \nStrong negotiating and influencing skills and using these to get the most out of a range of complicated supplier relationships \nManagerial or leadership experience highly beneficial \nResilience and ability to juggle many priorities at any one time. \nExcellent MS Office skills - particularly Excel and Word \nCIPS qualified (beneficial although not essential) \nFlexible approach and ability to work to tight timelines within a fast moving industry \nCustomer centric approach \nStrong commercial acumen \nA value added approach to delivering exceptional procurement service to internal customers.\nIf this sounds like the job for you, please apply now!\nDunnes Stores is an equal opportunities employer\n\nCookie Policy\n\nBy creating an account, you consent to Dunnes Stores (and any third party acting on its behalf) using your personal information which Dunnes Stores receives during the account creation process.
