We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in React, TypeScript, Kubernetes fundamentals, and micro frontend design principles to join our growing engineering team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications, integrating seamlessly with backend APIs, and ensuring maintainability and testability of your code. You will also have a chance to work on cutting-edge technologies, including containerized applications with Kubernetes and advanced CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Build modern, dynamic web applications using React.js and TypeScript, ensuring optimal user experience and scalability.
• Micro Frontend Design: Implement and maintain micro frontend architectures, promoting the development of modular, independently deployable, and reusable frontend components.
• API Integration: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs into frontend applications, ensuring seamless data flow and user interface updates.
• Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests for frontend components using modern testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Enzyme to ensure code quality and stability.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps teams to set up, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of frontend applications.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of frontend applications, including code splitting, lazy loading, and minimizing rendering times to deliver fast, responsive user experiences.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and QA, to deliver end-to-end software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering best practices in frontend development.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, concise documentation for frontend components, APIs, and integration workflows, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+years of experience in core frontend technologies like react.js, javascript
• React.js & TypeScript: Strong expertise in building frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript, with experience in hooks, functional components, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Micro Frontend Design: Solid understanding of micro frontend architecture, including modularization, independent deployment, and managing different frontend modules.
• Kubernetes Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications, including deploying and managing frontend apps in a Kubernetes environment.
• API Integration: Proficiency in integrating frontend applications with backend APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and handling asynchronous requests and responses effectively.
• Unit Testing: Experience writing unit tests and integration tests for React applications using frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Mocha.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Version Control: Expertise with Git, including branching strategies and collaboration using Git workflows.
• Frontend Performance Optimization: Strong knowledge of techniques to optimize frontend performance, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and reducing bundle sizes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills to work with diverse teams, discuss complex technical concepts, and document solutions effectively.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying issues, debugging, and resolving them in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced State Management: Experience with advanced state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Containerization Tools: Familiarity with Docker and how to use containers in frontend application development and deployment.
• Design Systems & UI Libraries: Experience with design systems or component libraries like Material UI, Ant Design, or custom libraries.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Google Analytics, Sentry, or New Relic for tracking frontend performance and user behaviour.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong experience in using a SQL based database
• Development and design of software solutions working closely with product managers
• Knowledge of working in an agile fashion, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Using techniques such as writing unit tests, refactoring, CI/CD
• Fixing and improving live issues when they occur
