Join a culture that prioritizes learning, creativity, and building solutions that matter!\n\nRole Description\n\nAs a SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst Intern at Durowave, you will support the monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats while collaborating with mentors and team members in a fully remote setting. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning in security operations, practical exposure to threat analysis, and growth in a supportive, technology-driven environment.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\nAssist in the continuous monitoring of security alerts, logs, and network traffic to identify potential threats or anomalies.\n\nSupport the investigation of security incidents, document findings thoroughly, and escalate critical issues to senior team members.\n\nHelp maintain and tune security tools (such as SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint protection) to improve threat detection accuracy.\n\nStay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to enhance the team's defensive readiness.\n\nQualifications:\n\nFoundational knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).\n\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity principles, common attack vectors, and incident response procedures.\n\nFamiliarity with security tools and concepts such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, or endpoint security.\n\nStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment and document security events clearly.\n\nA willingness to learn, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.\n\nBonus: Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash), platforms like TryHackMe/HackTheBox, or relevant beginner certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps).\n\nEducation: Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is highly beneficial.\n\nHow to Apply: Ready to make a difference?
