The role acts as the operational caretaker of current sales and procurement functions, including optimizing day-to-day processes.\nMinimum Qualification / Experience\nMatric\n\nMinimum of a Diploma in Supply Chain and/or Logistics\n\nPreferably a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related discipline)\n\n3 - 5 years' minimum supply chain experience with 2+ years' minimum supervisory experience required\n\nExperience in supply chain and inventory management is essential\n\nPrevious experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing sector is preferred\n\nDeliverables/KPAs\nAssisting in preparation of the annual sales budget, providing key input information and sales activity trends\n\nNumerical understanding of sales vs cost of sales as well as Plan vs Actual\n\nProvide input on debtors, creditors and Inventory to enable monthly cash-flow and net working capital analysis with finance\n\nClose monitoring of overdue inventory and resolution of aged stock\n\nEnsure timeous completion of month end tasks\n\nMonitor ordering cycles across short and long-term horizons, identifying cost and supply risks linked to over or under ordering\n\nHandle process from Request for Quotation, preparation of quote and order management\n\nCombine material, production and logistics costs to calculate pricing and gross profit for quotations and price reviews\n\nSupport customer price reviews, engineering changes, and build changes for existing and new business\n\nPlace monthly orders for future material requirements based on forecasts including stock level management\n\nAnalyse and approve monthly pipeline orders from sales coordinators, continuously monitoring to mitigate under/overstocking risks\n\nCalculate effective pricing change points based on customer usage\n\nSupplier and Customer relationship management (communication, need satisfaction, effective partnership)\n\nLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational facility issues / constraints and customer demand\n\nManage compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements\n\nApply kaizen mindset to identify opportunities for business improvement\n\n Competencies/Knowledge/Skills\nAdvanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\n\nDecision making (construct a decision matrix and select the best options)\n\nManage tasks until completion i.e. Follow up\n\nExperience with quoting and FOREX\n\nClearing and Forwarding experience\n\nFinancial / numerical acumen: Experience with profit and loss analysis including the knowledge of balance sheet and cash flow\n\nRisk
