We don't get piloted and shelved. We land once, and spread. We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and growing fast.\nWe're serving great customers like Datadog, 1Password, Cursor, Clay, Vanta and Persona, and aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2026.\nDust is backed by Sequoia with a determined team of optimists (coming from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford) who like to focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously while doing so. The Generalist named us among the Future 50.\nThe Role\nThis is Dust's first PM hire. You'll work closely with the product team, turning raw GTM signal, company priorities, and user feedback into well-formed problems the team can act on.\nWhat you will change:\nA lot of product signal doesn't reach the team in an actionable shape today. You'll create and run the process that connects signal to shaping to prioritization.\n\nImplementing company strategies across functions requires ownership and orchestration. You'll translate company priorities into an intelligible, trackable set of product, marketing, and operations initiatives.\n\nYou'll enrich prioritized projects with distilled business and user context and market perspective so that the people building them make better decisions.\n\nOur designers and engineers stay close to product decisions from conception to delivery. You're here to make their context richer and their priorities sharper. You enable distributed ownership, you don't replace it.\nWhat You'll Do\nQualify and synthesize feedback: Sit at the intersection of GTM, users, and product. Turn high-volume, unstructured input into a small set of well-framed problems worth solving.\n\nShape initiatives: Work with engineers and designers to translate validated problems into initiatives ready for Stack Rank - with clear objectives, KPIs, and scope.\n\nDrive outcome tracking: Own reporting on whether what shipped actually moved the needle. Feed that back into the next round of decisions.\n\nImprove internal coordination: Connect Marketing, Comms, GTM, and Product - reduce the friction that slows things down when multiple functions need to move together.\n\nOwn outcomes, not outputs: For cross-functional initiatives, you'll own the goal - objectives, KPIs, orchestration, reporting.\n\nOwn artefacts in the Dust platform (agents, skills, data, etc..) to continuously rewire and augment the above for yourself and the team\n\nWhat You Can Expect\nTeam\nDust is a growing team of about a 100 people. Most of the product and engineering team is based in Paris, with close collaboration across our teams in New York, San Francisco, and London.\nThe interview process\nThe process is designed to understand how you think, collaborate, and operate in an ambiguous, technical environment:\nRecruiter conversation: motivation, background, logistics, and fit for an early-stage environment.\n\nHiring DRI conversation: discussion with a senior member of the product team.\n\nProduct exercise: collaboration exercise based on a real company priority.\n\nFounder conversation: discussion with one of our founders on product judgment, attitude, and ability to operate with distributed authority.\n\nOnsite: working sessions with members of Engineering, Design, and GTM. We’ll look at how you gather context, identify the important problems, collaborate on possible approaches, and leave ownership with the people closest to the work.\n\nWe care more about the quality of your reasoning and collaboration than about arriving at a predetermined answer.\nWhat We're Looking For\nFounding PM mentality: Senior individual contributor and builder balancing capacity to build the practice in the company while being hands-on.\n\n5-8+ years of product experience, including time at an early-stage company where you had to build process from scratch.\n\nGenuine product taste. You know great from good in the world of tech products, and you bring deep perspective, judgment and conviction to any preferences you voice.\n\nExcellent information synthesis skills, distilling a messy pile of customer feedback, sales calls, and Slack threads into sharp problems.\n\nTechnical proficiency earn the respect of engineers. You don't need to code, but you understand systems and tradeoffs easily deeply.\n\nBuilder mindset at heart. You use AI tools fluently and you're excited about what they unlock for how PMs operate. You've thrived in environments where everyone is a builder and you want to strengthen that.\n\nEffective communication. You'd rather say one clear thing than three vague things.\n\nComfort with distributed authority. You influence by being right, not by being in charge.\n\nLocation\nWe're prioritizing building our team with an in-person culture at our offices in Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York because we value the magic that happens when talented people work closely together.\nWe have an office-first culture. Some of the best things about building at Dust are the energy, the fast decisions, and the unexpected conversations that unlock a hard problem, which happen because we are in the same room. Being together is not a formality, it is how we do our best work, and it is something we actively protect.\nThat said, we hire people with strong judgement and we extend that trust to how they manage their time. When working from home makes more sense for what you need to get done that day, we trust you to make that call.\nWhy Dust\nThe models are powerful enough. What's missing is the product layer where AI meets how companies actually work. That's what we're building: the infrastructure that lets any team turn scattered knowledge and tools into coordinated execution with agents they build, own, and run themselves.\nWe use Dust ourselves every day. We get to shape how humans and agents collaborate while solving our own problems with the product we ship. That loop is rare, and it's why we move fast.\nIf you're excited about defining a new category and want to join a determined team of optimists who focus on users, ship fast, and don't take themselves too seriously, we'd love to talk.\nEven if you don't check every box in our requirements, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we're more interested in your potential and passion than a perfect match to our checklist. \nLearn how we think and work.\nOur product constitution, a story about our mission\n\nAgents at work - Latent Space, podcast with our cofounder, Stanislas Polu, 2024\n\nLLMs reasoning and agentic capabilities over time - dotAI, podcast with our cofounder, Stanislas Polu, 2024","description_format":"text","description_chars":6948,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":8,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["LLM & Generative AI","AI Agents","AI Development Tools"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T10:46:19Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":13,"expected_fill_days":63,"reasons":["conf:3","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":136973,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/dust-senior-product-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/dust-senior-product-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T21:46:48Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"subnet","units_charged":1,"used_today":65,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4935,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-25T00:00:00Z"}}}
