This role is built for someone with experience on a relative value trading desk who is hungry, disciplined, and willing to put in the work required to develop into a strong trader.\nThis is an on-site role. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Chicago area and work from our Northfield office for no less than two years.\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nSupport relative value trading activity across fixed income and related markets.\nHelp identify and evaluate relative value opportunities.\nMonitor market conditions, liquidity, positioning, and macroeconomic developments.\nAssist with trade execution, risk monitoring, and portfolio analysis.\nWork closely with senior traders, research, risk, and operations teams.\nBuild and maintain tools, reports, and models to support trading decisions.\nStay engaged with markets throughout the day and be prepared to work long hours when conditions require it.\nRequirements:\nExperience on a relative value trading desk, 6 months minimum.\nFixed income trading experience preferred.\nStrong work ethic, discipline, and willingness to grind through details.\nAbility to learn quickly, take feedback, and improve through repetition.\nStrong attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure.\nComfortable working in a demanding, performance-driven trading environment.\nMust be willing to relocate to the Chicago area.\nMust be able to work onsite at our Northfield office for a minimum of two years.\nTakes ownership of outcomes and does not need constant hand-holding.\nIs curious about markets and willing to do the daily work required to build edge.\nCan handle pressure, uncertainty, and direct feedback.\nCares about precision, risk, and process.\nWants to earn responsibility through consistent performance.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation package, including base salary and performance-based bonus.\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nHSA, FSA, and Dependent Care Options\nEmployer Paid Group Term Life and AD&D insurance\nVoluntary LTD, Life & AD&D insurance\nFlexible Vacation policy\nRetirement plan with employer match\nDVis not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms.
