Senior Product Manager – Optical Measurement & Intelligent Sensing (瑞光)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of Optical Measurement and Intelligent Sensing solutions. This role will be responsible for defining product strategy, identifying emerging technology opportunities, driving software platform evolution, and building scalable solutions for future industrial applications.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge in optical measurement technologies with market insight and the ability to transform industry requirements into innovative products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Technology Planning

• Define the product roadmap and long-term development strategy for optical measurement and intelligent sensing solutions.
• Identify emerging opportunities in industrial automation, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, precision equipment, energy, and advanced manufacturing industries.
• Analyze technology trends and market dynamics to drive future product direction.
• Develop differentiated solutions that address evolving customer requirements.

Software & Solution Development

• Define software requirements and platform strategy to support measurement, visualization, analysis, and operational optimization.
• Promote integration of edge computing, AI technologies, industrial data platforms, and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with software and engineering teams to enhance solution scalability and user experience.
• Drive the evolution from standalone products toward integrated software-enabled solutions.

Industry & Application Development

• Engage with customers, industry experts, research institutes, and ecosystem partners to understand future application requirements.
• Support strategic projects and key customer opportunities.
• Build domain expertise in optical measurement applications and related industrial use cases.
• Act as the internal technology champion for optical measurement solutions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams.
• Align technology development with market requirements and business objectives.
• Drive collaboration across global teams to accelerate innovation and market expansion.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or above in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of experience in optical measurement, machine vision, metrology, sensing technologies, or related industries.
• Experience in product management, technology planning, or business development.
• Strong understanding of industrial measurement systems and sensing technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience in machine vision, spectroscopy, laser measurement, dimensional metrology, surface inspection, or precision measurement applications.
• Knowledge of AI-based inspection, industrial software platforms, or digitalization technologies.
• Experience working with global technology partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
