They lead us to what matters most to our company: creating a warm, caring, safe and professional environment for our customers and each other.\nOur culture of impassioned service delivery is the Diversicare Difference.\nResponsibilities\n Performs preventative maintenance and maintains maintenance records as instructed.\nPerform building and equipment repairs, as per work order requests.\nPerforms fire safety equipment tests under the guidance of the Regional Maintenance Director.\nInspects building systems as scheduled and log findings.\nCoordinate maintenance services with department managers to ensure building and equipment performance without interruption.\nPerforms basic carpentry, drywall, flooring and painting as required to maintain favorable building appearance.\nMaintains the building in good repair and in compliance with local, state and federal laws.\nFollows established safety rules and Policies & Procedures of building.\nOrder equipment and supplies as necessary; and maintain proper records of repairs and purchases.\nMay be required to drive for company business with either company vehicle personal vehicle\nMaintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect\nQualifications\n Must have demonstrated HVAC repair experience.\nIntermediate skillset in electric and plumbing repair highly desired.\nKnowledge of water heaters, generators commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration would be a plus but not required.\nKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretation.\nCompletion of High School/GED education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.\nBasic computer literacy\nPositive attitude toward the elderly\nDiversicare is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
