This role combines hands-on manual testing with test automation development and requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams.\nThe ideal candidate embraces a \"Shift-Left\" testing approach, actively participating throughout the software development lifecycle to identify defects early and improve overall product quality. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing comprehensive testing strategies, and supporting continuous delivery practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Automation & Quality Engineering\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright.\nCreate and execute API test suites using Postman and Newman to validate backend services and integrations.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software releases.\nDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.\nMonitor automation coverage, test execution results, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.\nManual & Exploratory Testing\nPerform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing for new and existing features.\nValidate user workflows, edge cases, and system behavior across various scenarios.\nConduct cross-browser and responsive web application testing.\nExecute targeted manual testing for high-risk features, integrations, and media processing workflows.\nAgile Collaboration & Defect Management\nParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement reviews, and design discussions to identify quality risks early.\nCollaborate closely with developers to ensure testability and quality are embedded within the development process.\nInvestigate, reproduce, document, and track defects through to resolution.\nProvide clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders regarding product quality and release readiness.\nSecurity & Compliance\nSupport security testing initiatives by collaborating with DevOps and Security teams.\nWork with automated security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Aikido, or equivalent solutions.\nEnsure testing processes and documentation align with compliance requirements, including SOC 2 standards where applicable.\nAssist in validating system security, data protection, and access control requirements.\nRequirements\nMust-Have Technical Skills (Hands-On Experience)\nMinimum 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.\nAt least 1 year of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.\nStrong experience with Playwright for UI test automation.\nHands-on experience with Postman and API testing methodologies.\nProven experience in executing smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and exploratory testing throughout the software development lifecycle.\nAdditional Requirements\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration.\nExperience with Git version control and Agile development practices.\nGood understanding of web technologies, REST APIs, and modern software architecture.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.\nWhy
