If you have mechanical aptitude, a genuine interest in the trade, and want to learn from experienced electricians while building a long-term career, we want to hear from you!\nThe Apprentice Electrician supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role provides hands-on learning and development opportunities to gain technical knowledge and practical experience while contributing to project success.\nWhat You'll Do\nWork under the supervision of a Master or Journeyman Electrician to complete assigned tasks\nAssist with identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and performing electrical work on job sites\nInterpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams\nMeasure, cut, bend, and install wire and conduit; thread conduit ends and connect couplings\nInspect electrical units for loose connections or insulation issues and make repairs\nDrill holes, pull/push wiring, strip insulation, and assist with soldering connections\nInstall copper-clad ground rods and ensure grounding meets safety standards\nMaintain a clean, organized work area and assist with material staging and cleanup\nUpdate work logs and assist with administrative project duties as directed\nCollaborate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project deadlines\nAdhere to all safety policies, OSHA/state regulations, and participate in toolbox talks and safety training\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED (preferred)\nReliable transportation\nMechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn\nReliable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs)\nPrior construction or electrical experience is a plus\nLicense/Certification\nEnrollment in a state-approved apprenticeship program (Required)\nValid Maryland Apprentice Electrician License (Required)\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record \nWhy You'll Love Working Here\nHands-on training and a clear path toward licensure\nStrong safety culture and clear expectations\nOpportunities for growth within a premier heavy electrical contractor\nSupportive, family-oriented team environment\nCompetitive pay and benefits\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay Range: $18.00 - $28.50 per hour (based upon completed apprenticeship hours)\nWork Location: In person, field-based; may involve exposure to weather, heights, confined spaces, and loud noise.
