This role combines cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps practices, platform reliability, security governance, and technical leadership. You will work closely with engineering teams to enable secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery while driving continuous improvement across cloud environments.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.\n\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.\n\nDesign, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\n\nEstablish and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.\n\nImplement secure cloud solutions aligned with AWS security and governance standards.\n\nManage IAM, encryption, key management, secrets management, and cloud security remediation.\n\nLead incident response, problem management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.\n\nSupport disaster recovery planning and platform resilience initiatives.\n\nDevelop automation tools, scripts, and operational utilities.\n\nReview infrastructure and application code and contribute to platform modernisation initiatives.\n\nMentor engineering teams on AWS, cloud engineering, and DevOps practices.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nRelevant experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.\n\nStrong AWS experience within enterprise, startup, or scale-up environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience operating and supporting production environments at scale.\n\nExperience designing and managing AWS infrastructure using:\nECS\n\nLambda\n\nVPC\n\nRoute53\n\nCloudFront\n\nIAM\n\nKMS\n\nSecrets Manager\n\nRDS\n\nDynamoDB\n\nS3\n\nCloudFormation\n\nAWS CDK\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code and environment provisioning.\n\nExperience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience with Git-based source control and pipeline tooling.\n\nDocker containerisation experience.\n\nStrong understanding of:\nIAM\n\nEncryption and key management\n\nLeast privilege access\n\nZero Trust principles\n\nCloud security best practices\n\nSecurity risk remediation\n\nAbility to read, review, and modify application code where required.\n\nDatabase experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.\n\nPreferred experience level:\n\n5+ years in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering or DevOps roles;
