That leaves our people free to do what technology can’t: walk into a landlord’s home, earn their trust, and win their business.\nThe Valuer is a full-time role reporting to the Managing Director, working alongside them to grow the branch. As the first person most new landlords will meet, you set the standard for everything that follows. You’ll win new instructions, build our name in the communities we serve, and make sure every landlord we take on is one we want to keep. We care about how we grow, not just how fast: we would rather lose an instruction than win a problem.\nThe role will also evolve. As our AI agents take on more of the admin around enquiries and bookings, more of your time goes where it matters: in front of landlords, and out in the community.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nRespond fast and convert\nMake sure every new landlord enquiry gets a rapid, personal response, as speed wins instructions\nTurn enquiries into booked valuations, and valuations into signed landlords\nFollow up every valuation that doesn’t sign, until you have a clear yes or no\nKnow where every lead stands, and why any were lost\nWin the instruction\nCarry out rental valuations that are accurate, well-evidenced and grounded in market data\nPresent to a high standard: well prepared, punctual, smartly presented, and clear on what we do and why it’s worth paying for\nExplain our service and the landlord’s obligations with confidence, so landlords know exactly what they’re getting\nRepresent the quality of our brand in every interaction, in person and in writing\nBuild trust in the community\nBuild a visible, trusted name in the areas we serve, through local relationships and repeatable playbooks rather than one-off campaigns\nDevelop long-term relationships with landlords, investors, developers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and sales agents who can refer business\nStay in touch with landlords who aren’t ready to switch yet, so we’re the first call when they are\nKnow your patch: rents, stock, competitors and what local landlords care about\nGrow revenue profitably\nWork with the Managing Director on unit growth targets and the plan to hit them\nHold our fees, winning on service and value rather than price\nKeep discounts to the exception, used only where there is a valid reason\nPrioritise landlords and properties that are good long-term business for the branch\nWork alongside our AI agents\nUse our agentic CRM to manage your pipeline: AI agents handle first responses, reminders and admin, while you own the relationship and the close\nStep in personally wherever a lead needs a human touch\nShare feedback on where the system loses leads, slows responses or gets it wrong\n\nQualifications & Preferred Background:\nA track record of winning new business face to face: valuations, sales, business development or similar\nHigh personal standards: punctual, prepared and professional in how you present yourself and the company\nConfidence to hold a price and sell value rather than discount\nUrgency: you treat every enquiry as revenue and follow up without being chased\nA natural relationship-builder who invests in people over the long term\nComfortable working alongside AI and automation, and quick to learn new systems\nFull UK driving licence and access to a car\nNice to have:\nLettings or estate agency valuation experience\nLocal knowledge and an existing network in the area\nExperience in a tech-enabled or high-growth business\nExperience managing a pipeline in a CRM\nNew to lettings?
