This role partners closely with internal teams, attorneys, and insurance adjusters to drive timely reimbursement and support positive claim outcomes.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInvestigate and resolve partial payments and outstanding balances on claims in litigation\nSecure payment on outstanding invoices through research, follow-up, and coordination with external parties.\nReview and analyze litigated claims to identify issues, opportunities, and appropriate next steps.\nAssess current and ongoing risk related to medication services impacted by active litigation.\nResearch claim information, documentation, and legal updates to support claim resolution.\nCommunicate and collaborate daily with internal departments to ensure timely claim processing.\nServe as a point of contact for attorneys, adjusters, and other external stakeholders.\nObtain and review medical documentation necessary to support collection and reimbursement efforts\nAnalyze claim data and supporting documentation to make informed decisions and recommendations.\nContribute to the development and improvement of team processes, procedures, and best practices.\nParticipate in special projects and other duties as assigned.\nAbility to work a full-time schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00-5:30pm \nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\n3+ years of workers' compensation claims experience, including exposure to litigated claims preferred.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.\nAbility to interpret claim documentation, legal correspondence, and reimbursement-related information.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working with attorneys, adjusters, or other claims stakeholders preferred.\nKnowledge of pharmacy or medical reimbursement processes preferred.\nWhy You'll Love Working at IWP\nOur culture is built on our ICARE values: Ingenuity, Collaboration, Advocacy, Respect, and Empowerment.
