The CFO Division comprises Accounting & Financial Management, Risk Management, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Accounting, Regional Finance, and Procurement.\nYour key responsibilities\nProduce and manage timely delivery of monthly reports on compensation profit & loss and balance sheet\nCollaborate with Compensation Control SME’s in providing insightful business analysis and commentaries on compensation cost trends, and deviations from forecast and plan.\nSupport data aggregation, analysis and reporting in the area of deferred compensation\nDevelop a sound understanding of the deferred compensation and able to provide backup support to the SME\nPerform month-end journals and ensure accuracy and completeness in our financials\nBe a point of contact to manage month- end close, ensure numbers are reported accurately, and late adjustment are reported to the relevant teams\nPerform validation and control on assigned compensation topics\nPreparing relevant documentation and regular updates of the DWS Compensation Control Framework\nYour skills and experience\nQualified accountant who has experience in financial controller role or auditor role in a large financial institution/ Big 4 audit firms\nPrior experience with IAS19 and IFRS2 is a plus but not essential\nHigh level of control mindset and investigative working approach\nAbility to see the big picture and being able to connect various topics that impact the overall compensation book of work\nHighly analytical, excellent organizational and communication skills.\nProactive, curious, willing to challenge the status quo and keen to learn new skills/ knowledge\nStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills\nProven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.\nStrong skills in Excel and Power Point\nCritical thinking and control mindset\nSelf-sufficient and results-driven\nHow we’ll support you\nTraining and development to help you excel in your career\nCoaching and support from experts in your team\nA culture of continuous learning to aid progression\nWhat we’ll offer you:\nAt DWS we’re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves and it’s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy, and rewarded.
