This is your chance to achieve your goals and lead an extraordinary career.\nThis is your chance to invest in your future.\nTeam / division overview\nThe Fund CFO Associate will be part of the Illiquid Asset Operations team who are responsible for the oversight of operations and finance of Private Equity & Multi-asset Illiquid asset products. The role will focus on Private Equity Funds.\nThe key objectives of the team are to:\nOversee fund corporate administration,\nManage the engagement and on-going oversight of Service Providers,\nCarrying out certain control activities, such as bid budgets, fees monitoring, regulatory disclosures, etc\nManage cash,\nOversee product accounting,\nManage audit and tax reporting processes,\nOversee performance measurement and financial reporting.\nLiaising with the deal team to help support the acquisition of assets, AML / KYC, funding, engagement letters, bid costs, deal closing, conflict clearance, etc.\nReviewing the NAV on a quarterly and annual basis\nMonthly AUM reporting\nResponding to investor queries\nThe opportunity to work within an integrated and internationally operating department will provide the following benefits to a suitable candidate:\nWork in a rapidly changing business environment in a focus growth region for DWS, ability to work independently, opportunity to work within an international team, exposure to several funds which are at different stages of the Fund life cycle.\nConstant interaction with individuals within the organization, across the business (portfolio managers, product development, risk management) and externally (e.g. advisers, auditors, lawyers, service providers)\nDevelop wide range of professional skills (accounting, finance, tax, legal, regulatory).\nRole Details:\nAs a Fund CFO Associate you will (be):\nMaintain relationships with Fund and SPV officers, banks, administrators, legal and tax advisers.\nSupport legal and regulatory compliance functions of the business,\nReview of fund entity management accounts, quarterly NAVs,\nReview of statutory accounts, VAT, tax returns and / FCA and CSSF reports, liaison with auditors,\nMaintenance of operating standards, processes and procedures,\nMonitoring and assessment of business and/or regulatory risks,\nAssisting the oversight of the service providers.\nReview of the AIF´s NAV\nEnsure policies are consistently applied.\nWe are looking for:\n\nMotivated team member with strong attention to detail,\nAnalytical and pro-active approach to problem solving,\nStrong interpersonal skills with flexibility to work independently,\nHighly collaborative and able to work efficiently and effectively,\nAbility to proactively communicate issues to the direct report,\nAbility to translate complex situation into a succinct action points list,\nAbility to work to tight deadlines.\nQualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA) (1-2 years PQE)\nExperience within the Alternative Investment Fund industry (Audit, Administrator and In-house)\nExperience within Private Equity and fund of fund products is highly beneficial.\nStrong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nProven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.\nWhat we’ll offer you:\nAt DWS we’re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves sand it’s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy and rewarded.
