It covers essential Technology and Operations capabilities, and aims to deliver a platform which is efficient, scalable, resilient and agile.\nYour responsibilities:\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the engineering , design and delivery of digital platforms and is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. Work includes:\nPlanning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals \nBuilding reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle \nEnsuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions. \nEnsuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. \nReviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability \n Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and solutions in the Bank. \nArchitect, develop, and maintain UI components using React.js and JavaScript. \nDefine and enforce best practices for UI development, coding standards and performance optimization. \nCollaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers and backend developers to deliver seamless responsive interfaces. \nWrite clean, maintainable and well-documented code. \nDrive code reviews, unit testing and integration testing processes. \nContribute to architecture and design decisions for scalable frontend systems and own performance, accessibility and cross browser compatibility. \nWe are looking for:\nMust HaveTechnology Skills:\n15-20 years of hands-on technical and functional experience in financial industry app development with technologies such as: Java, Springboot, React JS, Kafka, Cloud, CI/CD, Dev Ops, Test Automation. \nProgressive engineering hands on development experience to lead engineering teams with enterprise scale applications\nStrong Agile skills with running Dev Ops, IT Risk and control, SRE scrum teams and squads. \n\nSkills that will help you shine:\nTeam Management:\nExperience with people development with respect to training, upskilling, providing right opportunities within India and global squads.\nPromotes engineering culture and improves productivity amongst India FTE and vendor staff. Grooms and coaches the team providing proper career progression.\nDynamic resource management and close collaboration with DWS global tech and product teams. \nExcellent skills and appetite to maintain risk & control hygiene.
